Important candle safety information:

Candle Care:

• Light your candles in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts as this can cause rapid uneven burning and create sooting around the vessel
• Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• For your first burn allow at least two hours to avoid tunnelling as this leaves a build-up of wax around the vessel's sides
• As these are square vessesl and candles burn in a circular pattern, it may take two burns for the wax to melt all the way to the edges
• Do not burn each candle for longer than 4 hours at a time as this can cause the candle to over heat and may make the wick move
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets, and always extinguish them before leaving a room or going to bed
• Ideally use a snuffer or spoon to put out the flame, rather than blowing, to avoid scattering hot wax and always ensure the candle is completely out
• Always keep at least 10cm between burning candles

Caring For your wick:

• Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches, as debris in the wax can act as a secondary wick, encouraging your candle to burn faster and could course debris to catch fire
• After extinguishing the flame with a snuffer, centre and straighten the wick
• Burning for too long can cause the wick to move, or slant. If you see a flaming wick come close to the vessel wall, extinguish the flame and straighten the wick to prevent the vessel from cracking
• Once your wax has set trim wick to approx 4mm before relighting

Aromatherapy Natural Soy Wax Candles: Each contains <10% essential oils: Citrus Aurantium (Amara), Citrus Sinesis, Elettaria Cardamomum, Boswellia Carterii & Styrax Benzoin.
